Month of Impact is a community-wide volunteer initiative that brings together individuals, workplaces, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to strengthen central Iowa through service.

Taking place from August 5 through September 15, Month of Impact connects people with opportunities to support local organizations, address community needs, and create meaningful change close to home.

Whether you volunteer as an individual, participate with a team, or support a local cause in another way, every action contributes to a stronger, more connected community.

Yes. Workplace teams are encouraged to volunteer together, share their impact, and even challenge other companies to get involved.

How can I share my participation?
Participants are encouraged to share their volunteer experiences on social media and tag United Way of Central Iowa using campaign hashtags.
