Join a Community-Wide Movement to Make a Difference

Month of Impact is a community-wide volunteer initiative that brings together individuals, workplaces, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to strengthen central Iowa through service.

Taking place from August 5 through September 15, Month of Impact connects people with opportunities to support local organizations, address community needs, and create meaningful change close to home.

Whether you volunteer as an individual, participate with a team, or support a local cause in another way, every action contributes to a stronger, more connected community.

What Is Month of Impact?

Month of Impact is an opportunity for people across central Iowa to come together through volunteerism and community engagement.

Throughout the initiative, participants can choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities and service projects that support local nonprofits and community organizations. Opportunities are available for different interests, schedules, and levels of experience, making it easy for anyone to get involved.

By connecting volunteers with organizations doing important work across our community, Month of Impact helps turn individual acts of service into meaningful collective impact.
