Built in 1987, the United Way of Central Iowa Human Service Campus located at 1111 9th Street in Des Moines serves as a collaborative hub for more than 20 nonprofit organizations and human services agencies. By bringing United Way of Central Iowa and its community partners together under one roof, the campus encourages collaboration and provides centralized access to resources that help individuals and families throughout central Iowa thrive.

Organizations located at the Human Service Campus benefit from a full-service lease and amenities that support their daily work, including:

- Access to the conference center
- Ample free parking
- On-site security
- On-site fitness center
- Day porter service
Lessees must be qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
