This page is to provide guidance and support to current funded partners of United Way of Central Iowa. If you have additional questions beyond the information below, you can contact your respective officer or the Community Investments Manager (contact information located in the FAQ section below).

When can current funded partners apply?

The FY26 application will open on February 3 and close on March 2, 2025.

Whom may I contact with questions?
How do I determine which strategy to apply under?

You should apply under the strategy you are currently funded under. If you believe there is another strategy that better aligns with your program, please contact your officer. You can find the strategy you are currently funded under listed on your previous application.

Where do I find my performance measures?
John will send PDFs of your performance measures, which you will upload to your application, by 1/31/25. You can also log in to Scorecard. If you need additional support, contact Vanessa Sedrel at sedrel@unitedwaydm.org or 515-246-6502.
What type of reporting is required?
Two types of reporting are required:
  • Demographic reporting is completed in Foundant and Performance Measure reporting is completed in Scorecard.
  • Reporting opens on 7/1 and closes on 7/31.
  • Demographics we ask you to track: age, criminal history, education level, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, refugee status, veteran status, household income.
How do we update our banking information?

If you need to change your banking account that United Way has on file, contact John Soener at john.soener@unitedwaydm.org. He will send you a form to complete via DocuSign.
