PROTEIN FOOD DRIVE

Many summer food programs end the week of August 5, leaving children without access to nutritious, quality food the weeks leading up to when school starts.

Over 8,000 food insecure central Iowa children are ineligible for nutrition assistance programs.

United Way of Central Iowa is uniting with central Iowa businesses and faith-based groups to provide protein rich food items to food insecure families in Polk, Dallas, and Warren counties.

If you're interested, please click the RSVP link to the right.
