Have it. Wear it. Wash it. #MaskUp

We are calling on you – our volunteers, donors and community members – to donate cloth face masks to support Broadlawns Medical Center and United Way of Central Iowa's Healthier Together - It's a Win for All initiative, or Win for All.

Central Iowa is experiencing disproportionately elevated COVID-19 infection rates among marginalized communities and underserved populations, illustrating the disparity and barriers still in existence within our community.

Wearing a face mask is one of the best ways to minimize the probability of contracting the virus.

Help us provide free access to this important protection by making or purchasing fabric face masks to donate to Win for All. Make a commitment today using the registration form on this page and bring your donated masks to United Way of Central Iowa. Upon registration, we will email you more information and requirements for your donation delivery.

Your donations will make a difference

Broadlawns is distributing donated masks, hand sanitizer, educational information, face shields, and thermometers to individuals and community organizations in central Iowa who may face challenges securing these critical preventative resources or those who have been compromised during the COVID-19 health crisis.

Included within the educational Healthier Together - It's a Win for All handout are:

  • The top 3 ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19,
  • Where to go for Care,
  • COVID-19 Resources,
  • Instructions on how to make a mask from a T-shirt or square cotton cloth, and
  • Do and don'ts of wearing a face mask to prevent spreading the virus.
