The annual LIVE UNITED Awards recognize individuals and organizations in central Iowa who are making a huge impact, improving lives through their exceptional efforts giving, advocating, and volunteering for those in our community who need help.

 

Winners are honored in front of central Iowa business, nonprofit, and community leaders during United Way of Central Iowa's largest annual event, the LIVE UNITED Celebration. They are also featured in local media, on social media, and are presented with a beautiful award to display year-round!

You may nominate your organization, your friends or co-workers, or even yourself for as many awards as you like. Note that to be eligible for the Spirit of Central Iowa award, your organization must be nominated in all three organization categories.

SPIRIT OF CENTRAL IOWA

The SPIRIT of CENTRAL IOWA Award honors the one organization that— through giving, advocating, and volunteering—has shown an exceptional level of dedication to helping attain the community goals and impact work of United Way of Central Iowa.

To qualify for the SPIRIT of CENTRAL IOWA Award, organizations must submit organizational nominations for all three categories of GAME-CHANGER, IMPACT-MAKER, and HAND-RAISER.
