People often hear the word “advocacy” and think of professional lobbyists. But, advocacy is much more than that. It is about lending your voice, and anyone can be an advocate!
United Way of Central Iowa's Advocacy Initiatives are outlined each year at the outset of the State of Iowa's annual legislative session.
Alongside these efforts, Advocacy is a top priority year-round as the organization forms coalitions and unifies strategies to advocate for systems-level changes to improve lives for all central Iowans.
