This holiday season, United Way of Central Iowa is collecting food and personal-care items for our HOPE families. You can help us by donating specific items requested to meet these families' needs.

Sign up to donate specific items

Items can be dropped off November 28-December 9 at United Way of Central Iowa, 1111 9th Street, Suite 100, Des Moines.

Your donations will brighten the season for our HOPE families—single-parent families who are struggling to make ends meet and who face barriers such as homelessness, food insecurity, lack of transportation, limited education, and extreme poverty.

The HOPE Initiative is a multi-generational, integrated, and comprehensive approach to connecting these families with the resources they need in education, income and health.

Thank you for your generous support. Great things happen when we LIVE UNITED!
